FAQ
What is the difference between ceremonial matcha and classic matcha?
Ceremonial matcha is made from the youngest tencha leaves from the first harvests. Its ultra-fine texture, vibrant green color, and mild, non-bitter taste make it ideal for pure drinking. Classic matcha, on the other hand, is often stronger in flavor and slightly more bitter.
Where does your matcha come from?
Our matcha comes directly from Japan, more precisely from Shizuoka, where it is cultivated and harvested by hand in accordance with tradition. We work with producers committed to organic and sustainable agriculture.
Is your matcha organic?
Yes! Our matcha is certified organic by JASCERT and Canada-Bio. It is guaranteed to be free of pesticides, additives, and preservatives.
What is the caffeine content of matcha?
Matcha contains approximately 30-35 mg of caffeine per gram, about the same as regular green tea. However, thanks to L-theanine, the caffeine in matcha is released more slowly, providing sustained energy without a spike or crash.
Can I drink matcha every day?
Yes! Matcha is a great alternative to coffee. We recommend 1 to 2 cups per day to reap all its benefits.
How do I store my matcha?
To preserve its freshness and benefits, store your matcha in a cool, dry place away from light and moisture. Once opened, reseal the bag tightly and refrigerate. After 3 months, its flavor may change slightly, but it remains safe to consume.
